Foodies will find nothing to complain about in Sarasota. This is a town that will have something for you, whatever your tastes, mood or budget. What’s more, as any Sarasota dining guide will tell you, there are more Zagat-rated restaurants here than there are in most other places in the state.

While this is in no way a comprehensive Sarasota dining guide (there’s hardly enough space in this post), here’s a look at what you can expect when you dine out here:

If you’re in the mood for fine dining, you’ll find the city abounding with options. Among the standouts are The Colony Dining Room, Euphemia Haye and Chef Jose Martinez’s Maison Blanche on Longboat Key, as well as Café L’Europe at St. Armands Circle.
